Cassells St. Rock Gardens

Started in 2010 and completed in 2011, the Cassells St. rock gardens are enjoying their first year in full bloom.  Look for them on the rock outcrop just in front of the First Baptist Church across from Victoria St.   The plant layout was done with the help of Jim Merritt & Commanda Country Gardens with all of the plants intended to be perennials and tolerant of full sunshine and dryer soils.

The flower beds were first brushed, laid out and then the stones were mortared into place. 
The beds were then filled with planting soil and selected flowers.
